WWD’s Jean E. Palmieri reviewed the 26th edition of New York Men’s Day, where Ethan Lewy presented for the first time. Titled “The Flying Point,” the Spring/Summer 2027 collection brings a fresh perspective to menswear’s traditional styles and fabrics.
The collection began with seersucker, reimagined through new colors, proportions and details. Houndstooth got an update with squiggly embroidery, and tailored pieces were finished with jewel-like buttons. “I’m into celebrating traditional motifs and bringing new life back to things we’re used to seeing,” Ethan told WWD.
