Lemi Le Magazine’s Alban E. Smajli picked ten collections to know from New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027, drawn from the full week’s calendar. Ethan Lewy was one of them, alongside Magda Butrym, ThreeASFOUR and Terrence Zhou.
The review noted that “charming menswear” was given substance without leaning entirely on nostalgia: classic tailoring and neatly composed shirts in spirited colours, faded camouflage, painterly checks and loose, ink-like patterns, with silhouettes kept legible so the fabric and surface carry the personality. It pointed to the luxury deadstock textiles, which give the clothes “the slight irregularity of pieces discovered rather than uniformly manufactured,” and concluded that the collection’s appeal lay in “making conventional polish feel individual again.”
